VACATION PLAN space Salaried Managers and Office Staff: Years of Service
Vacation 1 Year
2 Weeks 5 Years
3 Weeks 20 Years
4 Weeks
- Salaried Managers and Office staff are eligible to receive paid vacation days
after their anniversary date of one-year continuous service to Southern Bells, Inc.
- Five (5) working days constitues
one week vacation pay.
- Vacation time does not accrue.
- Payment for unused vacation (in lieu of time off)
will not be made.
Hourly Employees: - An hourly employee can earn one week vacation after one year of
continuous service.
- Vacation will be equal to the employees' normal hourly wage times the average number of hours
worked per week in the last twelve months.
- Hourly employees who reach their five year anniversary date will earn two
weeks vacation, using the same formula.
________________________________________________________________________________ space ANNIVERSARY DAY - All employees will receive
one paid day off each year following his/her anniversary date of hire with Southern Bells, Inc.
- Anniversary days do
not accrue.
________________________________________________________________________________ space SICK DAYS SPACE Salaried Managers and Office Staff accrue 4 hours of sick time
per month from January 1- December 31. - Sick time does
not carry forward to the next year.
______________________________________________________________________________________________ HOLIDAYS - All company restuarants are closed for business on Thanksgiving day and Christmas day, which are
paid holidays for Salaried Managers.
- The office observes New
Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas
Day as paid holidays.
_______________________________________________________________________________________________ PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS Every six (6) months, all hourly employees will receive a performance evaluation with the potential
for pay increase. These reviews will be completed in the months of March and September. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM SBI offers a college scholarship program to all employees after one year of employment. Employees
may be eligible for scholarships totaling $4,400.00 which may be applied toward the tuition cost of a bachelor or associate
degree program at an accredited college or university. Please contact the HR Department for information and eligibility
requirements.

have been employed with SBI for one year, are 21 years of age, and who work an average of at least 20 hours per week. ________________________________________________________________________________ space INSURANCE BENEFITS Southern

basis, for those who qualify.
